ASCENT 2 (LTF 1) ...more info...

A UP LFT 1 wing must satisfy a wide range of criteria in order to be approved, both by ourselves and by the certifying bodies. On one hand it should be perfectly suited for learning on, and for progressing on, but on the other hand is must be both fun to fly and have the performance it takes for more advanced users to be happy with it. The handling must thus be extremely forgiving of even larger pilot errors yet it needs to be agile and inspiring all the same. With the Ascent 2 we feel we have struck the right balance in all these matters; a wing that will NEVER bite you, but rather inspire you to excel!

KANTEGA XC (LTF 1-2) ...more info...

The new Kantega XC is the latest branch on the new UP family tree that started with the Trango 3 and was followed by the Summit XC. It uses the same Hybrid Synergy Airfoil as the Summit XC and has inherited this wings’ amazing performance, but it combines the performance increase with a very forgiving behaviour in all situations. We think that this is THE approach to paraglider design – we want you to feel good about your passion for free flight!

SUMMIT XC2 (LTF/EN C) ...more info...

The Summit XC² comes with more extras, more performance & more ‘feel-good’ than ever before! We kept some features of its predecessor, such as the BTS, added new features such as the Airfoil Stabilizing System to replace the Mylar in the leading edge, equipped the trailing edge with mini-ribs to reduce drag, worked on the weight ranges & in fact, completely redesigned the canopy. With only 3 risers/side the Summit XC² is a 3-liner, but in order to keep it firmly within its class we decided to keep a couple of D attachment points on the canopy, supported by the C lines. The result is a high performance paraglider, which only scored ONE C during certification (size M in the category full speed 75% asymmetrical collapse) – the rest of the categories scored A’s and B’s! When you fly it we know you'll agree – this is what easy performance paragliding is all about!

TRANGO XC (LTF 2-3) ...more info...

Most paraglider manufacturers are able to build an LTF D wing that goes well in a straight line - but for UP International, that could never be enough! Ever since the first Trango model was introduced we have been market leaders in Serial Class performance wings, simply because the Trango family has always had a well-deserved reputation for offering the best balance between all-out performance and user friendliness/safety. The new UP Trango XC is no exception. Built with top performance as the ultimate goal, but with the trademark UP safety and handling always in sight, this is possibly the finest wing we have ever built. A true 3-liner with the performance to match anything currently out there in this class, the Trango XC is the right choice for most performance oriented pilots.

EDGE XR (Competition) ...more info...

Aleady the new 2-liner technology has changed the game of racing paragliders.. once again, tasks are flown faster, with more gliding and less climbing, than ever before. This puts the emphasis in glider design on the gliding, & on building wings that will not only convert every little bump into altitude, but also let its pilot sniff out buoyant lines along their tracks so that the thermalling is reduced to a minimum. Contrary to what you may think it HAS NOT made the game less exciting - just different. But it isn't enough to make a wing that can go well in a straight line, because try as we may we still need to thermal quite a lot during the average task. And when we have the altitude we think we need for that final dash to the goal line we also need to have a wing that will remain open through it all, in spite of travelling at a TAS of 65km/h or more! The new Edge XR does all that and more! Built for speed, it nonetheless has trimmers to slow it down in the weak stuff, plus you can open the trimmers to go fast with no exertion in still air, or use them together with the very light and efficient speed system on final glides. Put together this could be the most well-rounded and harmonious comp wing currently available, although we hardly need to tell you that it isn't for beginners, nor should the impressive top speed be approached without caution.

K2 (LTF 1-2) ...more info...

One of the most important aspects of a tandem glider is surely the launching characteristics. So when we designed the K2 we made absolutely sure that it would launch IMPECCABLY every time - nothing less than this woudl do. All in all we spent 1½ years on the design and refinement of this wing, normally an inordinate amount of time but we know that you'll appreciate it when you step onboard this sublime double-seater. Our in-house acro ace Peter (Petsch) Neuenschwander does commercial tandem flying for a living, and he was the chief betatester for this new wing - we knew that if he was happy with it then so would you be. His feedback enabled us to build a wing that addresses all the sore points on a tandem pilots' checklist, and he claims that "the inflating and the launch of the new K2 is really not found any better anywhere in the market at present. Very light on the pilot when inflating, low takeoff speed and the peculiar sensation of being practically "plucked off" the ground every time makes this wing something special". Even when launching with passengers who either can't or won't really run, the same feeling prevails. Just a light initial impulse on the A-risers and the canopy travels all the way up above the pilot/passenger, and as soon as it is there it seems to lift off like the proverbial tractor beam. What it does for you as a pilot is to release all start-related stress so you may concentrate on making the flight into an unforgettable experience for the passenger.
